Dream Character List for Marvel Rivals DLC: Heroes and Villains to Add Next

Marvel Rivals has taken the gaming world by storm with its 6v6 team-based combat featuring iconic Marvel heroes and villains. While the current roster is stellar, there’s still room to expand with some fan-favorite and underappreciated characters. Here’s my dream list of new characters that could bring unique abilities, lore, and style to Marvel Rivals on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

Heroes

Miles Morales (Spider-Man)
Why: Miles brings a fresh spin on Spider-Man's abilities with his bio-electric venom strikes and camouflage. His mobility and unique powers would make him a dynamic and tactical addition.
Gameplay Concept: Stealth-based character with venom-powered attacks that stun enemies and an ultimate move unleashing a venom blast in an area.

Sam Alexander (Nova)
Why: Representing the Nova Corps, Sam Alexander would add cosmic energy to the roster. His power to fly and wield the Nova Force would make him a high-damage, high-speed character.

Gameplay Concept: A mid-range blaster who can create energy shields and use a "Nova Strike" for crowd control.

America Chavez
Why: With her super strength and ability to punch portals into other dimensions, America would be a powerhouse brawler with teleportation mechanics.

Gameplay Concept: A melee tank with teleportation abilities to flank enemies or quickly reposition her team.

Shang-Chi Why: The Master of Kung Fu brings unparalleled martial arts skills, blending agility and precision with sheer power.

Gameplay Concept: A close-range DPS who builds combo chains to increase his attack speed and damage output.
Kate Bishop (Hawkeye)
Why: Adding Kate as a more agile and modern archer would be a nod to younger fans while offering a distinct style from Clint Barton.
Gameplay Concept: A sniper-type character who specializes in trick arrows like explosive, ice, and EMP variants.

Monica Rambeau (Spectrum) Why: With her ability to transform into any form of electromagnetic energy, Monica would be a visually stunning and versatile fighter.
Gameplay Concept: A ranged character with different energy modes (light, gamma, electricity) that provide unique buffs and attacks.

Villains
Green Goblin (Norman Osborn)
Why: As Spider-Man's iconic nemesis, Green Goblin would bring chaos with his pumpkin bombs, glider, and psychotic flair.
Gameplay Concept: A hit-and-run character using glider mobility, ranged bomb attacks, and an ultimate "Goblin Frenzy" that boosts attack speed and damage.

Taskmaster
Why: The ultimate mimic, Taskmaster could add an interesting twist by borrowing abilities from other characters.
Gameplay Concept: Adaptive combat where he learns enemy abilities after encountering them, plus a mix of swordplay, archery, and tactical gadgets.

Mystique
Why: Mystique’s shapeshifting abilities would make her an incredible infiltrator and disruptor.
Gameplay Concept: A stealth-based character who can disguise herself as enemies and cause confusion, with a pistol and melee skills for combat.

Kang the Conqueror
Why: Kang’s mastery of time would create gameplay opportunities for unique mechanics like time loops or rewinds.

Gameplay Concept: A long-range controller who manipulates time to slow enemies, reverse damage, or speed up his team.
Mephisto
Why: The dark lord of Marvel’s underworld would bring mystical chaos and high-stakes deals into the fray.

Gameplay Concept: A support/debuffer who can drain enemy health, summon demonic minions, and offer temporary buffs to allies at a cost.
Ultron
Why: The ultimate AI villain, Ultron would fit perfectly into the game as a calculating and relentless foe.

Gameplay Concept: A tanky damage dealer who summons drones, uses energy beams, and can temporarily upload his consciousness to avoid death.

Wildcard Characters
Blue Marvel (Adam Brashear)
Why: As a super-genius and powerhouse rivaling Superman’s strength, Blue Marvel would be a fan-favorite addition.
Gameplay Concept: A hybrid of tank and blaster, with powerful energy punches and an "Antimatter Blast" ultimate.

Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel)
Why: Kamala’s stretchy, embiggening powers would make her a fun and unique character with a playful personality.

Gameplay Concept: A melee fighter with AoE crowd control from her embiggened fists and an ultimate enlarging her entire body for massive damage.

Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes)
Why: Ghost Rider’s hellfire abilities and his iconic car could bring fire-based attacks and high-speed gameplay.

Gameplay Concept: A mid-range DPS who leaves a fiery trail behind his attacks and uses his "Penance Stare" as a devastating ultimate.
Beta Ray Bill Why: As a wielder of Stormbreaker, Beta Ray Bill would bring cosmic power and another Asgardian perspective to the game.
Gameplay Concept: A heavy melee bruiser with lightning-based abilities and high durability.

Doctor Doom
Why: The ultimate villain in Marvel Comics, Doom’s mix of sorcery and science would make him an imposing threat.
Gameplay Concept: A hybrid of tank, DPS, and support with powerful shields, ranged energy blasts, and minion summoning.

Daken (Akihiro)
Why: Wolverine’s son and a morally complex antihero, Daken’s feral combat style would add depth to the roster.
